Went to the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff today, and had a meeting with John Williams the Head of Information Technology. We talked about my idea for creating a location aware historical context driven PDA walking tour around the museum and surrounding areas.
John recommended and I agreed that the concept would be better suited for St Fagens Museum as its outside (ideal for GPS) and all the exhibits are linked to the one site. Would also be able to aim the tour specifically at school children and incorporate the content towards school curriculum.
Need to write up a proposal aimed at St Fagans and see where goes from there.
